Canon Middle East held its Partner Conference under the theme “Power of Partnership” from 3rd to 5th December in Istanbul, Turkey in line with Canon Middle East’s 10th anniversary celebrations, which was attended by over 100 partners from 45 countries in the MENA (North and East Africa) region. Canon also presented its business strategies and objectives for 2012 during the Partner Conference and conducted discussions about the important role of its partners in achieving its mission to be closer to its customers.
Canon Middle East, announced that it is assuming responsibility over operations in East African markets as part of a strategy to enhance the delivery of support services to channel partners in the region. To mark its new alliance with Canon partners from Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Somalia, Eritrea, Rwanda and Burundi, a kick-off meeting was organised at The Palace hotel, Dubai where the company also discussed its strategy and highlighted the exciting opportunities in markets across East Africa.
Canon Middle East, an imaging solutions vendor, has reaffirmed a positive growth outlook for the remainder of 2011. Building on Canon’s “closer to customers” strategy, the vendor recently held Regional Partner Communications Meetings in Jordan for partners in the Levant and Egypt, and in Morocco for partners in Maghreb countries. The meetings aim to examine the impact of Canon’s regional strategy to enhance closer and stronger relations with partners, while discussing the company’s solid performance in the key growth areas of office and consumer products.
Canon Middle East, awarded its partners for their contributions in the year 2010 during Canon’s Partner Conference that was recently concluded with the theme “Reaching New Heights” at the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi. The awards recognised of Canon’s Middle East partners in achieving 2010 directions and boosting the company’s overall performance, particularly in helping Canon post two consecutive years of positive market share growth. The winners of the B2B Awards were Canon Emirates from the UAE in the Office Business category; General Electric and Technology Company from Oman in the DIMS category; and El-Ajou Trading Company from Saudi Arabia, which received a Special Recognition Award for its role in a groundbreaking deal to supply 379 units of ImageRUNNER Advance C5040I to the Princes Noura University.
