Canon awards its partners

Canon Middle East, awarded its partners for their contributions in the year 2010 during Canon’s Partner Conference that was recently concluded with the theme “Reaching New Heights” at the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi.

The awards recognised of Canon’s Middle East partners in achieving 2010 directions and boosting the company’s overall performance, particularly in helping Canon post two consecutive years of positive market share growth.

“The performance of our partners in the region shows that the Middle East remains a very important growth catalyst for Canon. We also believe that the remarkable growth trend that we have achieved over the past two years is a reflection of the excellent relationship we have with our partners in the Middle East. It is therefore only fitting that we recognise their efforts through Canon’s Partner Conference and the 2010 Awards. We will continue to leverage our excellent regional network of partners to deliver sophisticated imaging solutions that satisfy the unique requirements of our customers,” said Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director, Canon Middle East.

The winners of the B2B Awards were Canon Emirates from the UAE in the Office Business category; General Electric and Technology Company from Oman in the DIMS category; and El-Ajou Trading Company from Saudi Arabia, which received a Special Recognition Award for its role in a groundbreaking deal to supply 379 units of ImageRUNNER Advance C5040I to the Princes Noura University.

Whereas, Diffazur was adjudged winner in the OPP Channel Development and Market share Gain category in recognition of its excellent effort in OPP sales in Morocco. While, Salam Studio also received the President’s Award for delivering very strong and consistent sales results across all product categories.
