According to the a recent study by GfK, Toshiba cornered 24.4% of the Saudi market share of Notebooks during the period of from January 2011 to May 2011, making it the leader in the notebook segment in Saudi Arabia. During the same period, Toshiba also achieved an average rate of 78.2% making it one of the fastest growing brands in the kingdom. “Apart from the excellent GfK market study results which placed Toshiba in the lead in terms of sales unit percentage, Toshiba is also the most visible brand in the showrooms in Saudi Arabia,” said John Maliakal, Regional Manager, Toshiba Gulf Computer Systems Division for the countries of KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.
