Consumer tech brand Touchmate will display its expansive product portfolio to senior buyers from the Middle East’s leading retailers and e-tailers at this week’s DISTREE Middle East in Dubai. The company sells across the Middle East and continues to see strong growth in markets such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The company also sells into African markets. Africa now accounts for approximately 30% of the company’s business.
Vasant Menghani, founder and CEO at Touchmate, said, “DISTREE is a great platform for vendors and retailers to gather for networking, to showcase products and renew friendships. It is a great event concept where you get to spend quality time with real buyers and close deals in a professional but relaxed environment.”
Touchmate believes that the consumer tech brand landscape has changed in the last two years, with non-profitable players closing operations or moving into different business areas.
“Prices for consumer electronics have decreased and products have become more affordable. The mobility segment has grown faster than any other category and we see this trend continuing. DISTREE Middle East is an opportunity for Touchmate to showcase its new range of products and explain our company strategy to a wide range of partners, helping them to increase business in their stores,” he added.
At DISTREE Middle East 2017, Touchmate will highlight its slim low-cost notebooks and its range of karaoke microphone products to retail buyers. Waterproof speakers, kids tablets and smartwatches will also be displayed on the Touchmate stand. Touchmate aims to continue expanding its channel customer base in the region.
