Tell us about your leadership style and philosophy.
My leadership style and philosophy is focused on individual growth and development. I have always attempted to inspire and attain a passion in my work environment. I encourage people to take the leap of faith and move forward, braving the hurdles that come their way.

What made you choose IT as a career opportunity?
The opportunity happened by chance as I was pursuing a career in Accounts. However, the moment I put my hands into IT, I knew this was the place for me. I was always fascinated by this very dynamic industry. IT is the only field which can be related to every sphere of our life – be it education, medical, welfare, family, etc.

How has your unique background prepared you for success in the industry?
Strong parenting and their continued guidance has been a great influence on my success. I have always had the encouragement from my family and they have been my rock throughout my career. It has helped me understand the intellect of my coworkers and create an atmosphere to lead them effectively.

What was your most interesting job?
My most interesting job is what I do right now. My passion lies in IT Solution Sales. Nothing gives me a bigger satisfaction than providing solutions to the client and getting satisfied results from the IT team.

What advice would you give to women looking to break into the field of computer technology?
The advice that I want to give to women is to be friendly and approachable. This acumen can make us successful with people. We need to be constantly networking with others. Be willing to take risks and never be afraid to fail. There’s no stopping a woman who has the focus and passion to excel.

What is the greatest transformation in technology you’ve witnessed in your career?
Every day is a new transformation and that is what we experience in technology. A new innovation happens just when we thought we were settling with the latest trends. However, to name one, I do believe that the mobile phone is amongst the greatest thing that has happened. It not only helps us to communicate but enables us to do things which we could not have imagined possible. We are always on the run and yet always connected.

What are your thoughts on the next transformation in the tech industry?
The next transformation which I see in the tech industry is advanced robotics and energy storage innovations. The world is moving into a difficult place where war and depletion of natural resources have become a resultant of our actions. To some extent we can repair these with the transformations in technology.

Are you involved in any sort of volunteer work? Can you give us some details?
Currently I am not involved in any volunteer work but would be interested in doing it.

What’s next for you in terms of your career in the tech industry?
I aim to become a Business Analyst in the future and possess the skills and the experience to ace it.
