HP appoints new manager for client virtualisation

Christopher Saul, Business Development Manager of Client Virtualisation, HP PSG ME

Hewlett-Packard Personal Systems Group Middle East (HP PSG ME) announced the appointment of Christopher Saul as Business Development Manager for Client Virtualisation.

Christopher will be responsible for growing HP’s client virtualisation business across the Middle East, closely working with Microsoft, Citrix and VMware to provide thin client, VDI and server based computing solutions to customers.

‘Client Virtualisation’ refers to HP’s thin client hardware and software product portfolio. HP is already the market leader for thin clients in the region.

“I’m really excited to have joined the HP Middle East team. There’s not a single organisation out there that won’t benefit immediately from HP’s Client Virtualisation solutions,” said Christopher. “The key issue for customers is working with a vendor that can handle an entire solution, from keyboard to client, from server to software. HP is uniquely positioned in the market as the only vendor able to bring a complete solution together.”

Christopher joins HP from Sun Microsystems/Oracle, where he grew his region to be Sun’s 2nd largest market for thin clients worldwide.

“We are pleased to welcome Christopher Saul as Business Development Manager for Client Virtualisation. We see this market as a key focus area for HP and Christopher’s leadership and expertise will be an essential part of HP’s growth in the region.”  said Salim Ziade, General Manager, HP PSG ME.
