Aptec concludes Avaya IP Office roadshow

Aptec concluded its Avaya IP Office roadshow in Dubai on a high note. The event saw more than 70 partners geared up and trained to sell Avaya solutions in the Middle East.

Resellers at the event were greeted by Avaya and Aptec’s senior management to increase their familiarity with the companies’ channel programs and product offerings. Built from the ground up specifically for small and medium-size businesses, Avaya IP Office delivers the communications capabilities that big business are used to, with the elegant simplicity and ease of use that small businesses consider a “must-have”.

Aptec also expanded its distribution agreement with Avaya, which now allows it to sell and promote Avaya’s enterprise data products in the Gulf region.

Shiboo Baby, Business Unit Manager for Networking, Aptec, said, “IP telephony is growing in importance, with the web intruding into daily business life. In addition to the wide range of solutions that Avaya already offers in the SMB space, these new offerings and features now make it possible for anyone in this sector to install an IP telephony system to maximise communication. We consider these roadshows as unique platforms to meet and greet both existing and newly-recruited Avaya partners.”

Avaya IP Office helps in improving ease-of-use and worker productivity for SME workers, and generates significant new efficiencies for businesses. Via Avaya IP Office, companies will be able to accelerate unified communications and contact center technologies in the SME market, helping SMEs compete more effectively, but in a cost-conscious manner.

Aptec and Avaya also held hands on-technical training for 3 days to train engineers in the Middle East on Avaya’s products and technologies.
