Dell’Oro Group, the leading market reseach organisation released the Quater 2 Market Share Report, and as per their findings Extreme Networks is placed at No. 2 in the Global Leadership Position for ‘Top-of-Rack’ Data Center Switches for the straight sixth quarter in a row, and was noted that the growth was driven by its industry leading Summit® X650, Summit X450 and Summit X480 switches.

As per Extreme Networks’ it continued its exponential growth in the “Top of Rack” switch port shipment category by increasing its port shipments by 194% compared to the same quarter one year ago. This demonstrates continued momentum for the Company in the dynamic and demanding data center Ethernet market.
