Fifty-eight percent of government CIOs faced organizational disruption during the past four years, according to Gartner Inc.’s 2020 global survey of CIOs. Fifty-two percent of respondents said they had also faced a funding shortfall in that same time frame. These figures are higher than those for all other industries.
