Fujitsu has launched its first annual SELECT Awards, designed to publicly recognise the successes of SELECT Partner Programme participants in South Africa.
Business-oriented awards celebrate hard financial performance in each of the three SELECT Partner certification levels, from which the Fujitsu Channel Team in South Africa will select a national Partner of the Year. A further six individual national awards will celebrate important ‘softer’ measures of success, such as solution innovation and ambassadorship on behalf of Fujitsu.
Honouring and sharing our partners’ outstanding contributions to the channel business, the first SELECT Awards winners will be publicised by Fujitsu in April 2012, both via the media and the company’s Web sites. National Partners of the Year across Europe, Middle East and Africa will then automatically compete to win the EMEA regional title, and will be invited to attend a high-profile Gala Awards Ceremony during the annual Fujitsu Forum event in Munich, in November 2012, where the ultimate winner will be announced.
Fred Saayman, Head of Channel at Fujitsu, says: “The new SELECT Awards further incentivise channel partners to invest in sharing in Fujitsu’s success. Fujitsu consciously created award categories that are not only beneficial to big companies, but also give smaller creative partners a very good chance achieving market recognition, and winning new business opportunities.”
The 12-month qualification period is now under way (1 April 2011 until 30 March 2012) and to participate in the SELECT Partner/SELECT Expert Award, partners must have a valid Fujitsu SELECT partner program certification. Entry to the business-oriented awards is automatic, and channel partners are invited to contact their local channel teams to enter the ‘soft facts’ awards.
