Epicor Software’s latest release of its enterprise software (ERP) is focused on helping Middle Eastern companies target cost reductions and improve processes and customer responsiveness ready to capitalise on what industry experts see as a start to economic recovery and growth.
Epicor 9.05 is the first major upgrade to the Epicor ERP which last year saw the company bring together its different enterprise solutions under the one ERP Epicor 9.
The new version is said to concentrate on enabling the top priorities pinpointed by industry experts such as AMR and Forester as necessary to take full advantage of any upturn. These include a focus on aids to cost reductions, process improvements and customer responsiveness.
“As we begin to emerge from the economic challenges of the past two years, we’re seeing a conservative ‘maximise efficiencies, minimise expenses’ philosophy in the markets we serve,” said James Norwood, senior vice president, worldwide product marketing for Epicor.
“Our new release is designed to enable customers to target these often competing mandates allowing them to focus on areas of opportunity, helping them to quickly realise tangible and sustainable results in their business on the road to recovery. Quite simply, we believe it is the right release for the right time in the market.”
Epicor 9.05 delivers functional improvements, enhancements and new modules across every suite within the solution, including Epicor ICE business architecture. Every new capability has been considered in terms of the industries Epicor serves and their need for better expense management and heightened customer responsiveness and service.
Since introducing Eprico 9 to the Middle East last year, the software copany has had numerous big wins across the Middle East including Rawabi Marketing International, KSA, Havelock AHI, Automech Group and Tetra Infotech.
