This friday HP rolled out its new tablet called TouchPad in US market after it went on sale in Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon.com, to name a few. HP expects to take TouchPad beyond America in the later part of this year.
TouchPad measures 9.45″ wide by 7.48″ high by 0.54″ deep and it weighs approximately 740 grams. It also supports Adobe’s Flash video format and runs the webOS operating system.
HP becomes the newest kid of on the block to offer a tablet besides Samsung Galaxy Tab, the BlackBerry PlayBook, the Motorola Xoom and many other tablets running on Google Android OS.
HP TouchPad is priced at US$499 for a 16GB model and $599 for a 32GB model in USA.
