Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has announced the creation of a global Travel, Hospitality and Leisure Solution Business Unit to deliver outcome based technology solutions that create a personalized connected experience for today’s travelers.
The company’s hospitality portfolio delivers on three key areas to benefit the business: Solutions creating a memorable guest experience, reducing infrastructure costs and improving hotel operations. The portfolio includes adapted communications and networking solutions for hospitality delivered via the cloud or on-premise.
The company has created a mobility solution specifically designed for the hospitality industry, enabling guests to use their own mobile devices to access hotel services. While, the Smart Guest Application Suite enabling guests to control the in-room environment using the room phone to adjust lighting and temperature, access hotel services, set a wake-up call, set do not disturb room status, and more.
The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise aims to be among the top three global players in the hospitality IT sector in next three years by delivering relevant technology, unique solutions and measurable outcomes to customers. It also have set up a new Hospitality Experience Center in Miami, Florida offering a dedicated integration lab, training facilities, and demonstrations for customer briefings.
It is also a Platinum Member of Hotel Technology Next Generation, an industry trade association dedicated to fostering the development of next-generation technologies.
