Check Point to Reinforce UAE Cyber Resilience with Prevention-First Security at GITEX

Prashant Menon, Channel Leader UAE at Check Point Software Technologies, explains that at GITEX 2025, Check Point is advancing AI-driven, prevention-first cybersecurity across the UAE, showcasing hybrid cloud protection, partner enablement, and regional innovation to secure digital transformation and evolving threat landscapes.

What are Check Point Software’s key objectives for participating in GITEX this year, and how does the event align with your regional strategy in the UAE?
At GITEX, our primary objective is to engage directly with customers and partners around the UAE’s fast-evolving cybersecurity agenda. As the country accelerates its digital transformation, prevention-first security is essential. The event allows us to demonstrate how Check Point is investing in local talent, expanding technology alliances and delivering solutions tailored to regional requirements —reinforcing our long-term commitment to securing the UAE’s digital future. This means protecting the connectivity fabric that underpins the country’s growth, while ensuring security architectures are open, collaborative, and driven by AI-powered prevention.

Cybersecurity is evolving rapidly—what new solutions or innovations is Check Point showcasing at GITEX to address emerging threats in the Middle East?
Visitors will be able to experience live demos across our Infinity portfolio, including CloudGuard for multi-cloud security, Harmony for endpoint, email and collaboration, and Quantum for networks and data centers. These solutions unify protection across hybrid environments and are aligned with local requirements, including DESC-certified SaaS offerings via UAE Infinity Portal.  This ensures centralized management, data residency, and regulatory compliance—critical for enterprises confronting today’s fragmented and fast-moving threat landscape. We will also showcase our AI-first approach, reinforced by the recent acquisition of Lakera, which redefines cyber security for the AI era by delivering advanced, scalable, and context-aware protection for large language models, AI agents, and AI-driven workflows.

How is Check Point supporting its channel partners in the UAE, and what role does GITEX play in strengthening those relationships?
Our channel ecosystem is fundamental to our success. We equip partners with advanced tools, training and co-marketing support to help them deliver stronger outcomes for customers. Programs like SecureAcademy provide continuous upskilling, while our flexible partner programs ensure profitability and long-term collaboration. GITEX serves as a meeting ground where we align strategies, share market insights and explore joint opportunities with our partners—further deepening trust and cooperation.

With growing demand for cloud security and AI-driven threat prevention, how is Check Point adapting its offerings to meet the needs of UAE enterprises?
UAE enterprises are moving rapidly to cloud and AI-enabled platforms, and security architecture must keep pace. We’ve expanded our CloudGuard portfolio to secure multi-cloud environments and integrated AI-driven prevention across all defense layers. Our Hybrid Mesh Security model enables organizations to unify and scale protection seamlessly across on-prem, cloud and hybrid infrastructures—delivering agility without compromising on prevention. By embedding AI-first security into every layer, and keeping platforms open and interoperable, we ensure enterprises gain both resilience and flexibility as they innovate.

What trends or challenges do you foresee shaping the cybersecurity landscape in the region over the next year, and how is Check Point preparing for them?
The cybersecurity landscape in the UAE is becoming more complex, with organizations facing an average of 1,938 attacks per week over the last six months, according to Check Point’s latest threat intelligence report. We see AI-driven attacks, ransomware shifts toward data-leak extortion, and the rise of infostealers targeting credentials.  Cloud misconfigurations and edge vulnerabilities continue to be prime entry points, while nation-state actors and cybercriminal groups increasingly exploit generative AI. Check Point is responding with a prevention-first approach, powered by real-time threat intelligence and AI-driven defense, helping enterprises protect against both known and emerging threats while building long-term resilience.

How do major industry events like GITEX contribute to Check Point’s growth, visibility, and engagement with customers and partners in the region?
GITEX is more than a showcase—it is a hub where innovation, partnerships, and strategies converge. For Check Point, it is a platform to highlight leadership in AI-driven cybersecurity, strengthen visibility with decision-makers and reaffirm our long-term investment in the UAE and the wider Middle East. Beyond demonstrating innovation, it enables us to listen closely to customers challenges and ensure our roadmap remains aligned with regional priorities. By focusing on prevention-first, AI-first, and open-platform security, we help enterprises protect the connectivity fabric they depend on every day.
