Shure Expands Microflex Ecosystem with New Fusion Mode for Scalable Audio

Shure has expanded its Microflex Ecosystem with the introduction of Microflex neXt Fusion Mode, a new patent-pending feature that brings Microflex Wireless neXt and the Microflex Advance portfolio together within a unified audio system.

Following the launch of Microflex Wireless neXt last year, Fusion Mode extends audio coverage for both sound reinforcement and videoconferencing across a wide range of enterprise and education environments. By combining wireless microphones with ceiling array microphones, the solution supports clear and consistent audio capture across medium and large spaces, including boardrooms, flexible classrooms, training rooms and lecture halls.

Across the Middle East and Africa, enterprises and educational institutions are managing increasingly varied collaboration environments, from executive meeting rooms and flexible learning spaces to large lecture halls and multi-building campuses. This is creating greater demand for audio systems that can deliver consistent performance across different spaces while remaining simple for IT and AV teams to deploy, standardize and manage.

At the centre of Fusion Mode is Shure’s built-in IntelliMix Digital Signal Processing. The integrated DSP removes the need for additional external processors when expanding audio coverage, helping reduce system complexity, lower overall deployment costs and accelerate installation.

The optimized mixer synchronizes Microflex Wireless neXt transmitters with Microflex Advance array microphones, enabling both systems to operate together while maintaining clear, uninterrupted audio capture.

In spaces where presenters move around the room, automatic presenter prioritization reinforces the wireless microphone while keeping the array microphones active. This helps ensure that presenters, participants and audience interactions are heard clearly by both in-room and remote attendees, without distracting changes or artifacts in the audio.

“Across the Middle East and Africa, organizations are looking for greater consistency as they expand their meeting, teaching and collaboration environments,” said Yassine Mannai, Associate Director, Sales, Shure MEA. “Microflex neXt Fusion Mode gives IT and AV teams the flexibility to extend coverage across larger and more dynamic spaces while simplifying the infrastructure required to deploy and manage the system.”

Built on a Decade of Microflex Advance Innovation
For more than ten years, the Microflex Advance portfolio has supported clear and consistent audio experiences across meeting rooms, learning environments and professional collaboration spaces.

The platform is designed to continue improving over time through firmware updates, intelligent audio processing and AI-driven performance enhancements, allowing organizations to introduce new capabilities without replacing existing hardware.

Fusion Mode builds on this foundation by giving IT and AV teams the flexibility to combine ceiling array and wireless microphone technologies according to the needs of each environment. This allows organizations to maintain consistent audio and management experience while adapting individual spaces to different meeting, teaching and presentation formats.

Designed for Scalable IT and AV Deployments
Microflex neXt Fusion Mode is designed for IT and AV teams managing larger classrooms, lecture halls, boardrooms, divisible spaces and multi-room projects.

The solution supports:

  • Extended audio coverage across medium and large spaces
  • Integrated sound reinforcement and videoconferencing
  • Consistent audio performance across rooms and campuses
  • Reduced reliance on external audio processors
  • Faster installation and simplified system design
  • Flexible deployment across enterprise and education environments
  • Centralized remote management

By bringing Microflex Wireless neXt and Microflex Advance together, organizations can expand their audio coverage while maintaining greater consistency across rooms, buildings and campuses.

With Microflex neXt Fusion Mode, Shure continues to strengthen its industry-leading collaboration and conferencing portfolio, providing a scalable foundation for clear, reliable audio experiences.
