Channel Post MEA speaks with Nirmal Kumar Manoharan, Regional Sales Director, ManageEngine about their participation at Gitex Technology Week 2020 and he explains that his company will be showcasing its entire suite of products, which will help enterprises deal with their IT-related challenges.
Give us a brief snapshot of ManageEngine.
A single, holistic solution that can manage an organisation’s entire technology infrastructure is the holy grail for many tech executives. And, initially when we started, our efforts focused on an all-in-one IT management solution. We soon realized, however, that most organisations don’t need every feature such a solution offers. That realization led us to build solutions that are specific to different business needs and that can be integrated together to provide exactly what the organisation needs–no more, no less.
With inherent flexibility, customisability, and extensibility, ManageEngine’s suite of products allows customers to start small, add more products as their needs grow, and integrate those solutions along the way to create an efficient technology management layer that spans their entire infrastructure and meets their specific needs.
Our tools help IT teams with service management, operations management, endpoint management, IT security, and data analytics. They are available both on-premises and in the cloud. Our solutions also help our customers effectively manage their on-premises as well as private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. We cover the entire spectrum of IT management, allowing our customers to be nimble as they navigate their digital transformation.
What do ManageEngine plan to showcase at the Gitex Technology Week?
At Gitex 2020, we will be representing ourselves as a complete solutions provider for organisations across all sectors looking to deal with their IT-related challenges. We will be showcasing our entire suite of IT management and security solutions for the GCC market. We have a portfolio of over 40 products covering all IT requirements, ranging from IT service management, operations management, network management, active directory management, IT security, endpoint management, analytics and more.
Explain to us how do these solutions help the industry?
Data security has remained one of the major concerns for businesses across the world. With the pandemic crisis, that security concern has gained more importance, and CIOs across all industries are now opting for technologies that can help secure their data. ManageEngine’s IT security solutions like Desktop Central and Password Manager Pro, help manage and secure endpoints and passwords respectively.
With the launch of sophisticated phishing attacks, it is vital to monitor users who log on from multiple locations simultaneously or who access multiple resources in a short period of time. Therefore, our new-gen SIEM solutions like Log360, which includes user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) capabilities, and our privileged access management solution, PAM360, are very useful for enterprises. With remote work and working from home becoming the new normal, our Remote Access Plus and Access Manager Plus solutions can help provide remote employees the access they need to exclusive information within the corporate network.
Our flagship product, ServiceDesk Plus, is ITIL-ready help desk and asset management software used by ITSM professionals worldwide. The solution helps organisations gain great visibility and central control over their IT operations.
Cloud is no longer just a ‘deployment option’ but is becoming one of the fundamental enablers of business. The cloud model is inherently optimized to drive dynamic, digital transformation with its traits of scalability, elasticity, availability, openness, and economic flexibility. With digital transformation, ManageEngine understands the growing need for businesses to adopt technology into every department, and we are here to help them manage their IT from the cloud with our IT management and security solutions hosted on Zoho platform.

How do you think social distancing and other safety protocols will impact Gitex?
We understand that due to the various safety protocols that are in place it would be difficult for the crowd from other countries to travel. This year the event might see fewer visitors when compared to previous years. Nevertheless, we are very much looking forward to being a part of this great event and meeting all the visitors.
What are your expectations from this year’s Gitex Technology Week?
We have been doing business in the Middle East since 2005, and Gitex has been a very important event for us since 2007. We consider the event of strategic importance to us. The event has helped establish our presence in the region and build contact with prospects, customers and partners, many of whom hold a close relationship with us today. This year, the goal of our Gitex participation is mainly to communicate our commitment to our customers and to continuing to serve them.
What will you be exhibiting at the show?
