Arrow Electronics yesterday showcased a range of modern data center technologies and cloud security solutions in association with its vendors at the Gitex Technology Week.
“IT professionals in both public and commercial sectors are under increasing pressure to demonstrate if they have the optimal data center technologies and cloud security solutions in place to support digital transformation and deliver values for their business or organization,” said Vimal Kocher, managing director for the Middle East region of Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business.
The solutions on display at Arrow’s booth G2-1, Hall 2 include modern data center technologies such as HCI, storage, servers, networking and services by Dell EMC, whereas RSA, a Dell Technologies business showcased Netwitness suite, secur ID suite and Archer suite.
Check Point presented its cloud, mobile and threat prevention solutions and McAfee highlighted its SIEM, ATD, IPS and endpoint security solutions. The network security vendor, Ixia emphasised on network testing, visibility, and security solutions.
Hybrid cloud security, network defense and user protection are the key solutions were under spotlight by Trend Micro. And, on other hand, Forcepoint pointed out the advantages about its NGFW, DLP and cloud security solutions at Arrow’s stand.
“We are working closely with our solution providers to help them acquire the critical consultative expertise and equip them with the practical solution portfolio to help end-customers better understand what it takes to capture transformative benefits delivered by these technologies in addressing current IT challenges,” added Kocher.
Commenting on their participation at Gitex, head of Channels and Alliances for EMEA at Ixia, Gabe Luis said, “We are very excited to join Arrow for the first time at Gitex Technology Week. Arrow is conducting daily technical seminars with one of its prime partners, Emirates Technology Solutions (Etek) booth that is located at Fujairah Government stand. The executive director for Etek, B. S. Nath said, “Arrow has enabled Etek to acquire the latest critical technology know-how about how hyper-converged infrastructure can deliver multiple compute, memory, storage, network and graphics options to match use case and cover a wide variety of applications and workloads. We have extensive experience in serving the public sector with their digital transformation initiatives. With Arrow’s help, we will display solution demonstration at our booth on how EMC VxRail Appliance family can offer extreme configuration flexibility, allowing end-users to choose the performance, capacity and graphics capability needed to extend and simplify deployment of big data analytics, high-end 2D/3D visualization and collaboration virtualized applications.”
