Channel Post speaks with Rick Costanzo, President & GM for Information Management at Kodak Alaris about utilizing the networking platform that GITEX provides to drive business and create meaningful relationships.
What are you most excited about GITEX Technology Week and what are your expectations from this year’s participation?
GITEX is the biggest event of the year for Kodak Alaris in EMEA along with other trade shows such as CeBit in Germany and Documation in France. It is the perfect platform for us to launch products to the Middle Eastern market as we know that business people and decision makers from all over the region come to GITEX. It is a time when the most cutting edge technology and business solutions are on display, and Kodak Alaris wants to be in the thick of it.
We have been enlarging our footprint in this region and driving growth. By participating at GITEX, we hope to build on the momentum and engage with regional IT decision makers from enterprises across a wide range of industries. Hopefully these discussions will translate into additional business and partnerships for Kodak Alaris in the near future.
Do you have standalone presence at the event or will you be showcasing with your partner(s)? Can you give us details of your hall and booth at the event?
We will have a standalone booth. Alaris will have designated areas where experts will showcase solutions for the Banking & Finance, Government, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) segments, three verticals where the firm’s solutions have been widely adopted in the region.
Key members of the Alaris global leadership team will be present at GITEX, along with senior regional staff. Partner and developer communities play a vital role in the ecosystem through their ability to connect, configure and create new solutions that meet customer needs. With this in mind, Alaris will also have a dedicated area for resellers and system integrators to learn more about its revamped Alaris Partner Programme.

What are you showcasing at GITEX Technology Week 2017?
At GITEX Technology Week 2017, Kodak Alaris will expand the previously announced Alaris IN2 Ecosystem by unveiling the Alaris S2000 Series Scanners – a new family of network/wireless and USB connected desktop devices – and showcase its award-winning software and services, which are designed to take the complexity out of information capture and improve the way people work.
The Alaris IN2 Ecosystem will be the focus of the booth at GITEX. Alaris launched its ecosystem earlier this year to help remove complexity from information capture. Now, the next wave of the IN2 Ecosystem offers new features and tight integration between scanners, software and services.
