Channel Post speaks with Nirmal Manoharan, Regional Director of Sales at ManageEngine about their participation at GITEX Technology Week.
How long have you been participating at GITEX Technology Week and what are your takeaways from last year’s event?
ManageEngine has been participating at GITEX for the last ten years. We have had tremendous success at the previous editions of GITEX and the response that we have received over the last years has been fantastic. The event has helped us in understanding the market requirements and the IT challenges the customers in the region face, and has also enabled us to fine tune the products and features according to the requirements in this region.
Why did you choose to participate in GITEX Technology Week 2017?
The Middle East has been one of the best performing markets for ManageEngine and this event has helped us increase our brand visibility and reach in the region. GITEX as an event has been becoming bigger and more focused year-on-year. Every year the exhibition chooses a latest trend as its theme. This year’s theme ‘reimagining realities’, is very much in line with our efforts to bring IT together and to be prepared for the reality.
This year, we are looking forward to talk to our customers and partners in Middle East on the best ways to bring IT together using our comprehensive IT management software and address the future IT management needs.
Can you give us details of your hall and booth at the event?
We have our own booth at GITEX and will be exhibiting in Hall 7, Booth A7–10.
What are you showcasing at GITEX Technology Week 2017?
At GITEX 2017, we will showcase our IT Service Management (ITSM), IT operations management, Windows Server management, endpoint management, mobile device management, security information and event management (SIEM), and IT analytics products. Bot Technology, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, IT Analytics and IT Security are some of the trends we will be focusing on at the event.
Do you have any plans to launch any new products, solutions or technologies at GITEX Technology Week this year?
This year at GITEX, we plan to unveil enhancements in the IT security, Active Directory monitoring and IT service management space.
