F5 Networks appointed Matthew Barker as a director for Sub-Saharan Africa with a clear mandate to boost companys’ business by further expanding the channel reach in the key markets. He will lead a team comprised of salespeople, channel staff and system engineers focused on consolidating the company’s position in the region.

Barker is an important appointment as we ramp up our business and channel impact across Africa. He has extensive experience driving sales growth in challenging environments, as well as a strong track record in impactful channel achievement and we are delighted to have him on board.”
Barker joins F5 from Fortinet and before Fortinet, he has worked with leading tech brands in Africa such as Aruba Networks, NetApp and Symantec in various capacities.
