Strive for customer satisfaction

Brian Pearce, COO and CMO at Beyond Security

Channel Post speaks with Brian Pearce, the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for Beyond Security about their recent entry into Middle East region.

In such a competitive market, how does Beyond Security position itself and what makes it stand out among the rest?
All the companies are driven to comply with market forces, but our focus remains on customer’s requirement and we strive for customer satisfaction enables to deliver stable, dependable products in a time of great turmoil in our industry and this is what differentiates us from the rest.

What can be done to secure network?
Scan Everything: With the promise of IoT comes the threat of dozens or hundreds of seemingly innocent hosts that have severe security issues being added to networks. Security Issues are often baked in to IoT components and have no means of being corrected after the fact of installation. Broadening scan ranges to capture every newly added host is a vital if temporary fix to the problem of finding and testing everything now being added to networks.

Consolidation: Movement toward one or two security platforms that deliver and manage all aspects of network security and away from contracting with a dozen vendors to patch together a water-tight vessel.

Security Built-in: For decades, network components have been released by developers with security as an after-thought. Network administrators have been swamped with hardware and software security problems that should have been sorted out before release. More administrators are using VA to test products before purchase to eliminate adding hosts that are shipped with known vulnerabilities.
