Lime Concepts to Look for new Retail Channels at DISTREE 2017

Fast-growing UAE-based consumer tech distributor Lime Concepts plans to further extend its retail channel reach. Lime Concepts is participating at this week’s DISTREE Middle East tech channel event in Dubai.

With 190 tech retail executives from more than 20 countries already confirmed to attend, the event is a powerful opportunity for vendors and distributors to meet existing and potential new channel customers face-to-face.

As a Gold Sponsor for DISTREE Middle East 2017, Lime Concepts will promote its growing portfolio of brands to retail buyers from across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

Bhavna Tahilramani, managing partner at Lime Concepts, said: “Every year, DISTREE Middle East is a great opportunity to introduce the new brands we are carrying to retailers and to refresh their knowledge of our portfolio. We’ve added new brands such as Seawag and Meliconi and now have 16 brands in our portfolio.”

Lime Concepts has built up a strong reputation for offering licensed accessories featuring characters from popular brands such as Disney and Marvel. The company also works with brand partners to supply these products into volume retail channels.

“We’re offering an extensive range of products for retailers to choose from – and we consolidate it all. This makes purchasing much simpler and more effective for them,” added Tahilramani.

Lime Concepts now makes up to 60% of its sales outside the UAE, working to supply major retailers across the GCC. The distributor is looking to further expands its channel reach into Levant and Africa. DISTREE Middle East gives Lime Concepts the opportunity to pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with top retailer executives from across MEA.

“We now have a team of 25 people with staff in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and soon in Kuwait too,” added Tahilramani. “We have a warehouse in Dubai and we’re still a relatively young company. We want to offer products that are different, that retailers really want.”
