OMA Emirates & SKIDATA Tie Up For Parking Solutions

OMA Emirates, a provider of cutting edge technology for the payment industry is partnering with Austria based SKIDATA for parking management solutions. The move strengthens the OMA Emirates solutions portfolio, and highlights the company’s focus on providing a wider range of services while supporting the growing regional parking needs.

OMA Emirates will provide Ingenico’s iSelf solution with hardware that will be integrated with SKIDATA’s software and will comply with their required specifications. The payment terminals meet with the highest and latest mandatory hardware and software security requirements. The enablement of EMV chip and PIN and magstripe transactions on kiosks improves customer interactivity which are simple, faster and more secure. It also supports the increasing use of use of contactless payments in the region which includes e-wallet and NFC/contactless cards and complies with industry standards such as MasterCard PayPass and Visa payWave.

The region with its growing number of airports, amusement parks, stadiums and retail facilities provide OMA Emirates and SKIDATA vast potential for business growth opportunities. The two companies will also look at possible synergies in India and other countries.
