Huawei and Dubai South has signed a MOU to bring future-city capabilities and services to Dubai South’s Business Park Free Zone. This collaboration, comprising of 11 modern buildings, will foresee a number of smart and safe city initiatives to support the growth of Dubai South as a modern business hub for many diverse sectors.
The Huawei Smart City and Safe City Solutions will address a myriad option right from end-to-end network planning, development of cutting-edge technologies, mobile and broadband infrastructure and addresses the aspects of rapid connectivity, security and ID management on a large scale with its IoT (Internet of Things).
“The MoU between Dubai South and Huawei will see the deployment of Huawei’s Smart City and Safe City Solutions to provide enhanced services to resident s and businesses in the Park,” said Colin Hu, Managing Director of Huawei Enterprise.” Huawei will provide strategic counsel to support the development of a blueprint for Dubai South’s smart initiatives. Huawei will also share its global expertise through training sessions, expert workshops and guided visits to other key customer sites where Huawei’s smart solutions have been implemented.
