RAKBANK has decided to tie up with Gemalto to aid its migration to contactless EMV Payments, which is gaining momentum across the Middle East and Africa.
Gemalto is supplying RAKBANK with its dual interface cards which will be further personalized by the bank and will be deployed for RAKBANK’s launch of its new RED MasterCard.
Red MasterCard, would offer RAKBANK’s customers all the benefits of swift ‘tap and go’ transactions, alongside an attractive loyalty and saving program. And soon after, the bank is planning to upgrade its entire payment card portfolio to dual interface technology.
