Philips today announces the launch of its new monitors including a 23-inch monitor with AH-IPS panel and 24-inch and 27-inch monitors featuring PLS LED panels.
All three of the latest E-Line displays offer vivid, true-to-life colors and wide-angle viewing, styled in an elegance-inspired design for a light, fresh face in any home or office.
The latest crop of E-Line monitors are available in glossy white finish with a slim, elegant metal stand, the 24 and 27-inch complements the home decor. The 23-inch display comes in a glossy black finish, features edge-to-edge glass and narrow border for a seamless appearance and minimal viewing distraction. For an extra sleek look, the front border on every model is kept free of touch buttons: all three displays feature a discreetly placed EasySelect toggle key on the rear to make quick adjustments to monitor settings.
The new monitors with extra-wide 178-degree viewing angles, making it possible to view the display from almost side on if necessary. Images are consistently crisp and colors vivid, making the displays ideal not only for photos, movies and web browsing, but also for professional applications that demand color accuracy and consistent brightness at all times. All three displays offer 16:9 Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution for rich detail and contrast, and feature Philips Flicker-free technology for an ultra-stable picture that keeps eyes fresh even after hours of viewing.
All three monitors comes with SmartContrast that analyzes the screen content and automatically adjusts colors and backlight intensity for the best digital images and videos. Users can also turn on a special Economy mode for just-right display of everyday office applications and lower power consumption.
With the new E-Line displays, users can hook up their mobile phone or other MHL-capable devices via an optional MHL cable, and watch HD videos come to life with full digital sound on the widescreen display. The mobile device is also charged simultaneously, so it never runs out of power half way through.
