In addition, Ingram Micro said it will deliver to local IT resellers and system integrators in Morocco the best offerings in cloud, networking, security, data centre, software and services.

Ali Baghdadi, president, Ingram Micro Technology Solutions, META region, said:

“We are delighted to launch Ingram Micro North Africa. Ingram Micro had been long-standing supporter of North Africa from our operations in France and now with a local entity and a substantial investment and local management, we seek to help the IT channel to realise the promise of technology.”

Fouad Amrani, country manager, Ingram Micro North Africa, added: “Morocco has been a strategic choice to launch Ingram Micro subsidiary in French speaking North Africa due to its geographical position and proximity with Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa countries. Through our launch in the region, we intend to bring to IT resellers and system integrators the value-added services of supply chain, pre-sales, financial and marketing support. Customer service is a key differentiator of Ingram Micro and we are planning to bring it to the resellers here.”
