Canon South Africa is to become the first choice partner for printers and print professionals in southern Africa with the announcement that it will acquire Océ South Africa.
This move towards acquisition brings together Canon’s technology and expertise with Océ SA’s market-leading services, that will create create a new value added business unit that will work directly with customers in the professional and production printing sectors.
Canon SA has had a four year’s distribution partnership with Océ SA that is a leading provider of innovative and high quality products and services for the printing industry.
Gian de Vallier, Managing Director of Canon South Africa said, “With this acquisition, Océ SA and Canon come together to create a formidable professional and production printing company in Africa.
