Zambia will host this year’s Southern Africa Banking and ICT Summit at Intercontinental Hotel Lusaka Zambia on 30th April 2015. The one-day event is organised is designed to highlight key Information Technology advancement and threats affecting financial institutions, government agencies as well as public and private organisations in their operations.
Touted to be the biggest Banking innovation and technology event across the Southern Africa and is expected to be attended by more than 300 CEO’s, CIO’s, tech experts and senior executives from the financial and technology sectors.
Bank managers, risk and compliance managers, internal IT auditors, security specialists, cyber crime experts, government agencies, cyber law experts and IT managers among others will come together for this Summit to discuss cyber crime landscape in Southern Africa and how can they protect their infrastructure and systems from rising tide of cyber attacks. Summit hopes to cyber attack can be identified by main stakeholders in financial industry as a key strategic priority.
