Customer experience management specialist, Agilitude has been appointed as a reseller for Salesforce Marketing Cloud in South Africa.
Agilitude already offers both Salesforce Service and Salesforce Sales, making it one of very few to offer the full suite in South Africa.
Quinton Pienaar, Agilitude CEO and customer experience evangelist, said the addition of Marketing Cloud to the company’s Salesforce solution offering makes significant sense.
“We focus on customer engagement and creating meaningful customer journeys. The addition of Marketing Cloud completes the customer journey life cycle, especially as traditional marketing is on the decline as digital marketing becomes more relevant,” he said.
Pienaar added that Agilitude’s focus on customer experience wasn’t complete without the marketing component. “A customer’s journey with any organisation starts before the sale, when they are on their buying journey. Marketing Cloud is the only platform to effectively build and manage these customer journeys and it enables us to provide an end-to-end customer experience consistent with the perceived brand objectives,” he said.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud provides a digital marketing platform for e-mail, SMS, social media and personalised Web experiences. “In addition, you can map your customer journeys and stay in touch with each and every prospect on a one-to-one basis rather than broadcasting messages to them,” he said.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud, which will be launched in South Africa this month, is a global success story. Pienaar said over 50% of the Fortune 500 companies use Marketing Cloud to manage their social media, content creation, engagement and advertising.
“This solution is aimed at any business that has a large consumer/customer following. The future of marketing is one-to-one customer journeys. Marketing Cloud allows us to market across hundreds and thousands of contacts, but still maintain a personal relationship,” Pienaar added.
