Printing and imaging solutions vendor Canon Middle East has unveiled a partner programme aimed at IT dealers based in Bahrain.

The year-long rewards campaign will recognise the channel community’s efforts to boost sales of Canon printers and further consolidate its position in that country.

Canon Middle East said top performing IT dealers of the country will be rewarded.

“Canon is a leader in the imaging and business solutions category in terms of technology, performance and range. This success has been built on many factors, including our product range, the service we offer, and most importantly, our ongoing programme for the development of channel partners and dealers in Bahrain,” said Hendrik Verbrugghe, marketing director, Canon Middle East.

“The Canon channel partner programme is designed to support and grow business in the IT channel and also seeks to continuously recognise the contribution of key players and team members who in turn contribute to our success. The feedback from the channel community for the programme has been fantastic and we are receiving a substantial increase in applications each day. We look forward to sharing great results following the end of the campaign,” added Verbrugghe.

The current channel programme focuses on sales targets set for main body printer business in Bahrain. The results with the details of the top performing dealers will be announced in 2016.

“Canon Middle East has always been committed to developing its channel relations in Bahrain and incentive programmes such as this enable us to work closely with our channel partners. Our channel partners are invaluable in fuelling growth and combined with Canon’s robust channel support, incentives and marketing programmes, we are creating ever-more rewarding relationships between the vendor and channels. We look forward to achieving greater success with this initiative,” said Dinesh Ramankutty, general manager, INTERCOL.
