Tactile Technologies will in a fortnight introduce its sister company – Newland ID South Africa, during the 2015 professional touch technology expo that will take place in Sandton, South Africa.
Newland ID South Africa is a company dedicated to the development and deployment of technology for data collection, automatic identification, mobile communication and payment equipment. It covers the EMEA region and is based in Linbro Business Park, Johannesburg.
Dubbed South Africa’s largest professional touch technology expo, it will take place at Sandton’s Balalaika Protea Hotel on March 17, 2015.
A statement by Tactiles Technologies Group Director, Mauro Mercuri said the latest touch products from a number of manufacturers, including Elo Touch Solutions, FEC POS, Winmate Taiwan and others will be on display.
The expo is expected to feature new products for 2015 including include Android tablets for a variety of applications as well as a range of mini-POS terminals.
Mercuri’s statement indicated that the Expo is the ideal platform to get an idea of what is available today from a touch technology point of view. “Next to a broad range of standard products such as desktop-, open frame- and large format touch monitors, Tactile will also have on show a number of self-service kiosk enclosures and solutions,” read the statement.
While a limited number of guests is expected to attend, the organisers say entrance is free of charge.
