Ericsson appointed Rutger Reman to lead its newly established division ‘Industry and Society’ that has been created to drive the company’s business growth and expand its market share in the region.
Reman in his new role, will be responsible for driving division’s overall performance, exploring new business in the energy and utilities, public safety and security, intelligent transport systems, and smart cities market segments.
He comes with an extensive global experience working with Ericsson across key departments, including project management, product management, operations, marketing and sales.
Rafiah Ibrahim, president of Ericsson – Middle East and East Africa, said: “With his strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of market trends, I am confident that Rutger will successfully implement Ericsson’s growth strategy across the region and deliver on-target business results.
Reman first joined Ericsson in Sweden in 1995. Since then, he has worked on a multitude of Ericsson projects spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
