Turkey’s Vestel group looking for African Partners

Turkish consumer electronics manufacturer Vestel has began a search for African partners to trade in their Flat TVs, Mobile phones and home appliances.

“Vestel is looking for trade partners/customers for Home Appliances, Flat TV, Mobile Phones business in all Africa. Vestel can develop special projects according to the individual needs of the markets,” the company said in a statement distributed by the Africa Press Organisation.

Founded in 1984 and with a €5 billion turnover today, the company, is a global producer of home appliances and consumer electronics in OEM and ODM and is located in Turkey.

In the published statement, Vestel said it manufactures high quality products under many of the A brands (including Japanese Companies where quality is the top priority) in the world. It also manufactures for the biggest retailers for their own brands.

“Vestel would like to manufacture for the registered brand of its potential trade partners. Moreover, they will be also very glad if we hear potential trade partners’ ideas for the goal of developing collaboration,” the statement said and added, “The key element of Vestel’s marketing strategy is to supply “value for money” products at internationally competitive prices, beneficial payment terms and shorter delivery times.”

Vestel Group comprises twenty-four companies operating in manufacturing, technology development, marketing, and distribution fields in the home appliances, consumer electronics, mobile technologies, professional displays ,LED lighting, and defense industries. Manufacturing capacity of  35 million products a year, and exporting to 149 countries: the range of the company includes; Flat Panel Displays (18 million pieces a year), Digital Signage Solutions (4 million pieces a year), Interactive Flat Panel Displays for Educational and office solutions (1 million pieces a year), hospitality TV solutions, digital and IP  set-top boxes , Smart Phones (1 million pieces  a year), Tablets (1 million pieces a year), LED Lighting Solutions, Refrigerators (3,2million pieces a year), Washing Machines (2,5 million pieces a year), Cooking Appliances (2,5 million pieces a year),  Dishwashers (1 million pieces a year), A/C (750.000 pieces a year).

The company boasts that their research and design teams were the first in Turkey to develop proprietary product designs and they are the only developer of micro-controller software for use in its production processes. The company has research and design facilities in Manisa, Istanbul, UK, Hong Kong, and Taiwan employing high caliber engineers to develop hardware and software solutions.
