A statement circulated by Cyberoam’s marketting Communications official Jitendra Bulani, said the Net Natter aims to bring thought leaders, security executives and other stake holders associated with network security on a common platform for a discourse on latest trends and developments in the cyber space.

It quoted a report by a Washington-based think tank as saying that, “espionage and cybercrimes together cost an estimated $445 billion to the global economy in 2014 alone. As small and medium scale enterprises in Uganda adopt latest advances in cloud, mobility and virtualization, their exposure to cyber threats is increasing.”
Mr. Kalpesh Maheshwari, country manager- Uganda, Cyberoam, said that, “We have been associated with all major emerging economies in Africa and are aware of the common challenges and issues faced by businesses on day to day basis. While companies are eager to scale up their infrastructure, they often have to accomplish this with limited resources. When it comes to network resources, attaining a balance between security, connectivity and productivity is often a big challenge. At Net Natter, we aim to discuss this very definite conundrum. At the same time, we will present to the audience Cyberoam’s approach towards future-ready network security.”
