Consumer electronics giant Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, has introduced in the Middle East market its newest and most advanced curved monitor, the SE790C.
According to the company, the display panel delivers an enhanced immersive and comfortable viewing experience and is suited for multi-media entertainment and multi-tasking.
“The SE790C has already been voted the world’s best monitor by picture quality institutes around the world and offers a viewing experience which is truly unique” said, Manoj Ghai, head, IT Sales Group at Samsung Gulf Electronics.
Ghai added that: “Curved is not just a trend, it is a natural progression of advanced technology and enhanced comfort for users. Pushing the limits of what display solutions can deliver, we expect this model to be well received by consumers in the Middle East who are seeking the very best in terms of functionality and quality.”
The innovative 3000R design of the SE790C has been optimised to match the natural curve of the human eye, providing a noticeably different viewing experience from traditional flat screen monitors.
The monitor has an edge-to-edge curve, which enables panoramic viewing, creating a wider and fuller field of view, and a more immersive visual experience. The monitor’s optimal curved design creates a high 3D-like effect ratio that makes the screen seem larger than a flat screen of the same size.
