Panasonic scoops Zayed Future Energy award

Panasonic Corporation has announced it has received the 2015 Zayed Future Energy Prize, an award established by the UAE government and managed by Masdar. Panasonic was recognised in the Large Corporation category.

HH General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The Zayed Future Energy Prize was inaugurated in 2008 and recognises leading solutions in renewable energy and sustainability and represents the vision of the late founding father and first President of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who championed environmental stewardship and sustainability.

“It is a great honour to receive the 2015 Zayed Future Energy Prize,” said Panasonic executive vice president Yoshihiko Yamada. “Since our foundation, we have endeavoured to stay true to our management philosophy, to contribute to the progress and development of society through our business activities and a sustainable future.”
