Why is this IT Show being conducted?
Business-to-business is an important vertical for DCG and the planned trade show is in line to provide the channel a way to maximise the benefits for business expansion, and also help foster fellowship among the trade members and community. This is the best business networking opportunity for IT trade partners.
How many members of DCG are going to participate at this event?
The DCG trade show is scheduled for the 14th and 15th of May 2014 at Grand Excelsior Hotel (Old Dhow Palace) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The event will have more than 30 exhibitors showcasing their products and service and also booths covering advisory, insurance, and press.
In order for a member to exhibit or participate, what are the pre-requisites?
The trade show is open for DCG members to exhibit and participate. The event will run for 2 days.
What will be the agenda of the IT fair Show ? Will there be presentations by members of DCG?
DCG has arranged prominent speakers for in-house seminars to speak on diverse subject matters that would benefit the channel. The complete schedule on the speakers will be informed to our members soon.
DCG has also arranged booths for different advisories that directly or indirectly help businesses. These include banking advisory, credit insurance, and general insurance.
How according to DCG will this IT Show help its members?
This show will help IT traders to network amongst themselves and understand each other more closely. It will also help raise the core competency level of Dubai IT traders.
DCG has got a full calendar of events scheduled for this year. On 2nd May we have a Sports Extravaganza wherein 12 teams will compete in a cricket tournament and four teams for football.
The event has been named DCG-D–LINK Sporting league 2014 as the event is sponsored by DLINK. On May 14th and 15th we have the DCG IT Show, which is a two day event with ASBIS Middle East as the Platinum sponsor of this event. We also have an Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 27th 2014.
