Locally owned Dremmwel Middle East and Africa announced that it has reached a strategic agreement with leading backup equipment provider Unitrends. Dremmwel will be Unitrends representative in the MEA region, and the first interface for Unitrends’ related marketing activities, Sales planning and execution, communication channel as well as training, customers’ visits and competitive information collection and reporting to the vendor.
Headed and founded by Bruno Haubertin, a veteran of the MEA IT markets, Dremmwel will provide Unitrends with the best in-region support needed to grow its business in the coming quarters and connect with the Unitrends sales community and business alliances.
“Unitrends is poised for tremendous success in the backup and recovery market,” said Kevin Moreau, general Manager and head of Unitrends for EMEA. “The company’s high-quality products are extremely well-positioned for what customers expect in backup and disaster recovery. Under the leadership of President and CEO Mike Coney, the company’s growth has shifted into high gear. I am responsible for extending this high-growth strategy into the EMEA market, and with our world-class technology, leadership and network of partners, there is no doubt in my mind that we will succeed.”
“The middle-East and African markets are the engine of growth for EMEA, and we cannot imagine European success without a strong presence in the region. I will attend personally the Gitex in Dubai this year to understand better the potential and complexity of the MEA geography.”
Bruno Haubertin added, “Teaming up with Unitrends is a privilege and the first market reactions have been more than positive to welcome an IT vendor of that category in the region. We will deploy sales and marketing resources for Unitrends across all geographies over time and deliver best in class support to Unitrends partners and customers.”
