Mobile growth in the region to drive productivity in the workplace

As the IT world transitions to a more mobile optimized work place, the need to manage and support the usability of mobile devices becomes ever more critical. This according to LogMeIn, creator of the world’s most widely used remote connectivity and support services.

“With the rise of smartphones in the region, mobility has the potential to increase a company’s productivity, decrease its expenses and satisfy worker needs in a variety of ways,” said Dominic Cross, Director of Enterprise Sales. “But this mobile workforce will face increasing complexities as they acquire multiple devices and IT will face similar challenges supporting these devices.”

Cross will be speaking at the Telecoms World Middle East conference taking place from September 30th until October 2nd at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, on achieving worldwide connectivity for mobile work and lifestyle, and delivering exceptional customer experience.

Despite the torrid growth of everything mobile, many organizations have not deployed tools that would enable them to support their mobile customers. Only 34 percent of respondents to a recent IDG survey have a remote solution enabling them to connect to a customer’s mobile device. At the same time, more than 60 percent say that such a solution would positively impact their customer service and satisfaction metrics.

Through LogMeIn’s support solutions like Rescue, organizations can now remotely support a user’s Android, iOS, Windows Mobile or Symbian device and quickly resolve any issue.
