Sophos today announced that it is participating in GITEX Technology Week 2013, which is being held in Dubai from October 20-24, 2013. The company will be focusing on its key strategy of ‘Security Made Simple’ through its Network Security solutions including Sophos Unified Threat Management (UTM), Endpoint security and server security solutions at the region’s largest ICT exhibition. Senior global executives from the company will be present at the event to meet with customers and partners and share their global success stories with them.
“The Middle East is a very important market for Sophos and GITEX, being the largest technology exhibition in the region, is an ideal platform for us to showcase our best-in-class security solutions portfolio, meet with regional customers and partners at a single venue and strengthen our channel network,” says Ralf Haubrich, Vice President, Sophos CEEMEA.
“IT security products have become as complex as the networks they’re trying to secure. At Sophos we know that the solution to complexity is not more complexity. We tackle security challenges with clarity and confidence, knowing that simple security is better security. We know that a proper security strategy must include networks, servers and devices. At GITEX, we plan to highlight how our solutions ensure your network’s security by providing the one thing no one else can: Simplicity,” Mr Haubrich adds.
At the exhibition, Sophos will be promoting its Network protection solutions, which include Sophos UTM, Secure Wi-Fi and Secure Email Gateway; its Enduser protection products including Enduser Protection Suites, Mobile Control, Endpoint Antivirus and SafeGuard Encryption; and its server protection solutions, such as the new Sophos Server Protection flexible cross-platform antivirus for virtual and physical servers. In addition to these, Sophos will also be highlighting its Cloud Security offerings.
Sophos’ expertise encompasses simplified systems for small businesses, easy to implement and maintain solutions for medium-sized organizations, and products to protect the complex needs of larger enterprises. GITEX attracts visitors from across sectors such as education, government, healthcare and telecommunication, with senior local and international management teams heading to Dubai for this important IT gathering.
Sophos will be exhibiting in Hall 1 stand D1-32. Technology experts from the company will be available to speak to existing and potential customers and channel partners from across the region.
