Sage Software launched the latest version of its CRM solution with an updated application that will allow users key social media functionality, increased interactivity and tighter integration. These new features will now give users the advantage of incorporating information found in leading social media sites like Twitter and LinkedIn into a larger corporate sales profile, which in turn plays a key role in the selling cycle.
The announcement of the updated version complements a recent report from the International Data Corporation (IDC) showing that the global CRM applications market enjoyed a solid recovery in 2010 with year-over-year (YoY) growth of 6.2 per cent and revenues of USD16.5 billion. The report also sees continued growth in 2011 with revenues approaching USD 18 billion on 7.6 per cent YoY growth.
According to Sage, CRM applications will continue to evolve, as exemplified by the release of technology enhancements like social networking abilities and socialytics. Today’s CRM applications are helping organisations deliver the next level in intimacy and insight, where customer experience and relationship will be the key differentiator.
“The presence of these newer features and connected service on Sage CRM v 7.1 makes it a total CRM package,” said Vikram Suri, Managing Director – Middle East & India, Sage Software. “We believe that the adoption and implementation of software should make things easier for people to do their business. The latest version of our CRM software gives our customers the flexibility, reliability, security and support to connect services and view their customer data in a way that best suits their needs now and in the future.”
Sage CRM v 7.1 comes with an email marketing feature that includes 90 templates giving users the advantage of developing a campaign with a simple wizard. It also has the ability to capture feedback from emails and tweak their marketing campaigns to address generated feedback.
Sage CRM has also developed a browser-based system for mobile phones, initially rolling out a version for the iPhone & Android, further getting into Tablets. Also, Sage CRM v 7.1 can integrate seamlessly with Sage’s many ERP suites like Sage Accpac.
“By connecting the most relevant and real time information from across the business, Sage CRM is a powerful business tool that can play a fundamental role in facilitating joined-up thinking, informed decision making and greater business performance across an organisation,” concluded Suri.
