“HP 3PAR Academy” from Avnet

Avnet Technology Solutions as part of it’s Value Add Program in the Middle East Region recently held a 2 day training program for its channel partners in the region on HP 3PAR Storage Solutions termed as on HP 3PAR Academy, designed specifically to help channel partners to capitalize on the fast-growing storage market that supports data center, virtualization, and cloud computing solutions.

The agenda for the academy contained sales focused presentations as well as technical interactive workshops for selected presales consultants. The training was hosted by Avnet in association with HP and Brocade was attended by a large number of channel partners from across the Middle East region.

Dr. Wolfgang Weith, who presided over the training sessions for the channel partners during the academy, commented “The purpose of the Avnet 3PAR academy is to update the skills sets of partners and provide them with necessary knowledge that equips them to maximize the potential of HP 3PAR technology”.

The academy discussed the competitive landscape and technical advantages of HP 3PAR Utility Storage. It also provided hands-on-training to its partners on HP 3PAR F 200 while describing the benefits and seamless scalability of HP 3PAR technology specifically in the datacenter, cloud and virtualization environment.

All of the attending channel partners felt that this training really added value to their business and helped them to understand the product and technology much better.  They added that high quality trainings in small groups are very rare in the channel, especially as the Avnet 3PAR Academy was free of cost for all attendees.
