Leading IT and electronics retailer in Middle East, Sharaf DG plans to open up its first outlet at Muscat Grand Mall, Muscat in Oman, expanding its network of stores beyond UAE and Bahrain.
The announcement was made during an official signing ceremony held in Muscat between Yasser Sharaf, Managing Director of Sharaf DG and Hassan Jaboub General Manager of Muscat Grand Mall.
Yasser Sharaf, managing director at Sharaf DG, said: “We have chosen Muscat Grand Mall as the destination for our very first store in Oman due to its fantastic location in the heart of the city. Our 34,300 square foot store will be the largest electronic store in Oman.”
“We have been looking to expanding our operations in Oman for some time now and upon learning that Muscat Grand Mall was due to open towards the end of this year, we decided that this was the perfect place for us to launch our first Sharaf DG store in Oman, with a view to opening more outlets in the future,” Sharaf added.
Hassan Jaboub, general manager at Muscat Grand Mall, said: “We promised that Muscat Grand Mall would bring exclusive brands to the market, enhancing everyone’s shopping experience and I am delighted to welcome Sharaf DG as the first of those brands to officially announce their partnership with Muscat Grand Mall.”
Sharaf DG will bring to Muscat the widest selection of brands in the region including Consumer Electronics, Home Entertainment, IT, Telecommunications, Home Appliances, Marine Electronics and much more.
