Leading taiwanese manufacturers of laptops, All-in-one PCs, tablets, graphics cards, and motherboards MSI (Micro-Star International), recently announced the appointment of Steven Chen as Regional Sales Director for the notebook division at MSI headquarters in Taipei.
In his new role Steven Chen will oversee the strategy to expand the MSI business in emerging markets. Steven will ensure that each country team has the same scope, values and direction for the MSI brand. Additionally he is tasked with expanding the company’s regional presence in countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Saudi Arabia.

Steven Chen’s appointment comes at a critical time for business in the Middle East region as MSI continues to expand, particularly in Saudi Arabia. Regionally MSI’s sales increased 180% in 2011 versus 2010.
