Zero Technologies, the Middle East’s first company to manufacture and export consumer electronics that are wholly-owned by a regional company is set to take the global computing industry by storm thanks to a radically new, inexpensive, internet-based, ‘zero client’ computing system and a veritable dream-team of partners.

‘zero client’ technology requires only a traditional keyboard and mouse, display unit, and then a small, stylish ‘client device’ which enables them to access and store data on a central server located anywhere in the world.

With zero client technology, computing infrastructure and maintenance costs for individuals and corporations are dramatically reduced, endpoint management and security breaches are completely eliminated, and energy consumption is slashed by 95% when compared to a PC. Zero Technologies will be showcasing its prototype design at GITEX next week.
