Samsung unveils new partner program Africa

Samsung unveiled its new partner program for Africa by laying down the importance on building relationships with their valued channel partners. The Program has been set up primarily to ensure the availability of a value channel to serve Samsung customers in the best way possible and create customer delight. It has also been put in place to incentivise the value reseller channel through differentiation and increased profitability.

Craig Green, Power Partner Manager, Samsung Electronics South Africa, said, “The Samsung Power Partner Programme is recognised globally as a symbol of the commitment we put into developing close, productive working relationships with our channel partners. It’s designed to empower our partners with the necessary tools to better serve their customers and to reward them for their support towards our business.”

The program is designed to help differentiate partner services and ensure partner credibility, which in turn, provides a platform for end-users to not only access the company’s database of partners, but provides peace of mind in that they are dealing with a Samsung accredited and authorised retailer.

Samsung believe that the new Power Partner Program will offer our partners unprecedented business opportunities and a competitive advantage that will help them grow their businesses and drive increased revenue – not only across South Africa, but into Africa as well. With 62 authorised resellers in South Africa and 55 currently in Africa, Samsung are looking to expand this number to 220 resellers across the continent. The program ensures all the partners several rewards under the partner commitment as they achieve revenue, specialisation and marketing goals, while providing them with the opportunity to escalate through the program.

“Our purpose is to build a community of motivated and highly capable resellers willing to invest in a mutually beneficial relationship with Samsung. Today’s market is a dynamic one and we are committed to meeting a broader set of customer needs, add value to the customer lifecycle, and establish long-term customer relationships. It is for this very reason that Samsung will continue to evolve and deliver market leading technology to mutual customers through our enhanced built for Africa Power Partner Program,” concludes Green.
