OtterBox extends its presence in Middle East

OtterBox, the Irish brand of sleek and durable casing after capturing the european marketplace, now it extended its reach into Middle East by opening an office in Dubai, which would be led by Joonas Jantunen who has recently joined OtterBox from Nokia.

Appointment of Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) as its first regional distributor for the Middle East region is part of the extention of OtterBox presence in the region. EMS will help build the brand to expand its channel network in the region.

Speaking on accasion Joonas Jantunen, Head-Middle East operation, OtterBox said,  “The Middle East has been a growing market for OtterBox in recent times and this office will further cement our expansion here in the region. The initial feedback from resellers and distributors has been extremely positive and we are looking forward to forging new relationships and cementing existing partnerships within the Middle East.”

The company specialises in device-specific protective covers for smartphones, tablets and handhelds for a number of different vendors, aims to increase its presence in the region to address the growing market.OtterBox currently has retail agreements with Carrefour, Jumbo, Plug-Ins, Jacky’s, CompuMe, ECity, and Skin Jam in the UAE, and a number of other retailers in Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
