PC powerhouse Dell has appointed Nazih Moufarrej as regional sales manager for Dell in the UAE. Based in Dubai, Moufarrej will be responsible for growing Dell’s commercial business across the region and will work closely with the channel community to deliver simple, flexible, high-value solutions to large enterprise and public sector customers.
In his new role, Moufarrej will continue to build on the established strong relations with Dell’s VARs and customers, supporting the Dell customer experience across the full storage, enterprise, client and service solutions portfolio.
Commenting on his appointment, Moufarrej says, “Despite recent global challenges, the UAE represents a buoyant market for Dell and its partners. I will continue to develop and support our channel, leveraging our strong relationship to grow Dell’s presence here and deliver strategic value solutions to our customers.”
Moufarrej adds, “Today, more than ever, our channel needs the right partner to work alongside them in order to lead the change necessary to deliver and sustain the best results. Dell’s team, from relationship managers to specialist consultants, offers broad experience in designing the right infrastructure and implementing strategic solutions from data centers to virtualisation, cloud computing and more, all backed up by modular professional services that ensure customers are always given the opportunity to adopt the most effective solution for their needs.”
Dave Brooke, GM at Dell Middle East remarks that, “Across the globe, Dell is singularly focused on driving efficiencies in enterprises by offering open, capable and affordable solution to its customers. In driving these efficiencies, we believe that we can reduce the amount that is spent on maintenance, or ‘keeping the lights on’, and give budget back to business to invest in strategic innovations. With his extensive background, Moufarrej will continue to drive Dell’s customer experience based on these principles.”
Moufarrej has more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry and has worked at Dell for more than four years.
