Misys announced the appointment of Michel Daenen as the new Sales Director of the company’s Capital Markets business in Middle East and Africa. Michel Daenen joined Misys through the acquisition of Sophis earlier this year, where he was the Regional Business Manager for the region. Prior to joining Sophis in March 2007, Michel spent almost nine years with Thomson Reuters in the Middle East leading professional services and pre-sales teams for their front-to-back trade and risk practices. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, Business Information Manager – Treasury and Capital Market for Dexia in Luxembourg.
